Ms. Avedissian has more than a decade of diverse experience in civil litigation, specializing in complex family law matters having represented a multitude of high net worth individuals, including prominent clients in the business sector and entertainment industry. In addition, she has had primary case responsibility on precedent-setting family law matters.
Not only does Ms. Avedissian bring to the firm her international experience but also her knowledge of comparative and international family law studies which she completed through the Dickinson School of Law at the University of Florence, Italy. Ms. Avedissian's expertise in the area of family law has been focused on complex custody litigation including contesting psychological evaluations, issues related to discovery of electronically stored information as well as litigation of complex business valuations.
Ms. Avedissian is fluent in French, Farsi (Persian) and Armenian, is also a past board member of the Armenian National Committee of America and is actively involved in various cultural and charitable organizations in the community.
