Karnig Greg Dukmajian is presently an associate attorney at Phillips, Lerner, Lauzon & Jamra, LLP in Los Angeles, where he specializes in all aspects of family law, including dissolution of marriage, child custody, spousal and child support and other related issues involving family law matters.

When Dukmajian joined the firm in 2006 as a summer law clerk, his duties included performing legal research, drafting memoranda, and responding to discovery requests. He also corresponded regularly with clients, dealt with both custody evaluators and out-of-state counsel. He later broadened his legal experience and breadth of knowledge while working for the Harriet Buhai Center. During his time there, he drafted memoranda on several family law issues, prepared declarations in support of orders to show cause, and conducted interviews with clients in divorce and paternity suits.

While a law clerk at the Los Angeles City Attorneys office, Dukmajian gained experience in the field of Civil Liability Management. In that post, he drafted memoranda relating to issues of municipal liability and immunity. Fluent in both Armenian and English, while working in the City Attorneys Victim Assistance Program earlier on, Dukmajian enjoyed his work assisting Armenian-speaking victims to whom he provided translation services. His prior family law experience was obtained at another Los Angeles law firm where his primary duties included the preparation of declarations of disclosure and drafting pleadings.

Graduating summa cum laude from California State University, Northridge in 2004, earning a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science with a near 4.0 cumulative grade-point average, he also earned the Judge Julian Beck Award for Outstanding Graduating Senior in Political Science, as well as the Lonnie Turner Award for Outstanding Junior in Political Science. He also was awarded the Valley Community Legal Educational Scholarship. Greg went on to attend Loyola Law School in Los Angeles where he held one of the coveted positions of Note and Comment Editor of the Loyola of Los Angeles Entertainment Law Review.
