An auto accident is sometimes called a personal injury attorney. This person is referred to as a personal injury attorney because he or she deals with cases that involve neglect. Neglect is a personal injury when it involves injury to another person. A personal injury attorney is a person who comes to the aid of an accident victim by fighting for compensation. The person may be entitled to compensatory damages that cover the cost of the medical expenses and such. The person may also be eligible for compensatory damages that can cover pain and suffering.

Most personal injury attorneys charge at least a free consultation. This gives the victim the opportunity to learn the validity of the case in a risk-free manner. Many personal injury attorneys also offer something called contingency representation. It isn’t free representation, per se, but it includes a deferment of all lawyer’s fees until the settlement check comes. That usually means that the victim does not have to pay if the attorney does not win the case. Contingency representation allows the victim to relax and escapes the worry that usually plagues someone who is waiting for a settlement with no means of paying the bills.

An accident victim can schedule a consultation with an attorney by calling the dedicated number to the office or completing an online form. The attorney will bring the person in and then ask for the documentation and information that can help him or her to assess the case. The attorney will then offer representation if the case is viable, and the attorney will also state the terms of the representation. So if you or a family member has been injured in an accident, contact our Irvine accident attorney today for a free legal consultation.
